OCHS Football players Visit Elementary Schools

The last couple of Friday mornings at some of our elementary schools have been some of the most joyful times seen during drop-off. Members of the Oregon City High School Football team have been at Gaffney Lane, John McLoughlin, Holcomb, and Redland elementary schools to greet students as they start their day, and help with morning drop offs. They give out high fives and fist bumps, they open doors, and help students with their backpacks. Some have even walked students to class!

Our elementary students have really enjoyed seeing the older student’s faces, and some have even asked for autographs! Thank you to Coach Aaron Skinner for arranging these appearances and for brightening the days of our younger students. We look forward to seeing you out at our other elementary schools later this week!

Here are a few photos from the previous mornings at Gaffney Lane, Holcomb, John McLoughlin, and Redland.
